🌏 Nong Khiaw River & Village Immersion Adventure ✨ Tour Overview Embark on a 3-day journey through the untouched beauty and rich cultural heritage of northern Laos. This experience blends mountain trekking, scenic river cruises, jungle exploration, and authentic village stays to give you a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. 📍 Itinerary Day 1 – Trek to Mok Jong Peak & Sunset Dinner 🥾 1PM Trek 3–4 hours through lush forests and rugged terrain to reach Mok Jong Peak. 🌄 Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views as the sun sets over limestone mountains. 🍢 Savour a traditional Lao dinner with fresh local ingredients. 🌌 Overnight stay under the stars or in a cosy tent surrounded by nature. Day 2 – Sunrise, River Journey & Village Immersion 🌅 Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise above the clouds. 🍵 After a light breakfast, descend the scenic trail back to the Eco Farm Stay & Hostel (return approx. 9:30AM). 🚤 At 10:30AM, board a traditional riverboat for a cruise up the Nam Ou River, passing dramatic limestone cliffs and jungle-covered mountains. 🛖 Arrive at Sob Kong village and trek 45 minutes through the rice fields. 🏊Reach Tad Mook waterfall and cool off with a refreshing dip. 🍲 Enjoy a freshly prepared local Lao lunch in the village or at the waterfall. 🐃 Trek back to the boat to continue further up river. 🪨 Arrive at Muang Ngoi and trek to a historic cave. 🥾 Hike to a panoramic viewpoint. 🧵 Visit Sopchem village, famous for handwoven textiles. 🍲 Cooking with the local family at your homestay, and enjoy a warm, shared dinner. 🏡 Overnight stay in the village homestay, immersed in Lao hospitality. Day 3 – Jungle Trek, River Lunch & Boat to Nong Khiaw 🌳 4 hour deep jungle trek through untouched overgrown trails. 🚤 Enjoy a relaxing river cruise down the Nam Ou River, stopping for a riverside lunch. 🛶 Cruise back to Nong Khiaw, soaking in the final river views.
